So for those don’t know tell us who you are and what you would consider to be your achievements in the music industry so far?

My name is kb da kidnappa,im from houston,texas.Im originally out of a group called street military.Thus far in my career I have achieved underground fame and im considered a legend in some places,but I still feel like I have a lot to prove as a solo artist and my goal is to be one of the greatest.

What would you has been your biggest track so far to date and does it have a music video on You Tube?

Well my biggest track so far is a song called ghetto raised.The song basically covers a lot of my experiences growing up in the hood and it even shows a lot of footage of where I grew up and it displays a more personal side of my career and yes the video is on youtube and I encourage everyone that reads this interview to go check it out.

Who produces your music and what record label are you on?

I have many producers that I work with because I like getting different styles and feels.I have had the oppurtunity to work with producers such as late and tricksta,juttla,bruce bang,icy hott,mike b,scarface,mjg of 8ball and mjg,and dj titanik.Right now I produce my own records on my own record label.I was on columbia records and wild pitch back in the days,but now the safest way to manage my career is to be independent and be in control until someone is interested with some real live money involved.My record company is called spitting venom recordz.

What are your thoughts on digital distribution? Is MP3 really the way forward?

I think digital distribution is ok.Right now itunes is doing a pretty good job with my record(spitting venom).I really don’t know if mp3 is the way, but any thing that puts money in the pocket of the artist im down with it because anything that involves the artist getting what they really deserve im down with it,so if mp3 is going to help a artist get real money then it could be a way out of many ways.

Have you had much radio support and mixtape features?

If so, what DJ’s are supporting you?Im a underground artist but I have had radio support im still working with dj,s like og ron c and dj awol plus late and tricksta.i got a couple of mixtapes dropping this year along with full length albums.

What subject matters and concepts do you cover in your songs?

I cover a lot of subjects in my music such as war,life,drugs,money,cars,women.sometimes   I write how im feeling at the moment, if im in my smokin zone I might write about the different kinds of herb I like to smoke if im in a war mind frame then im a write about riding on fools.sometimes it just depends on how I feel that determines what my subject or concept is going to be about.

Tell us about your latest release

My last album which was my first real solo album is called Spitting Venom.I think spitting venom covers a range of real life aspects that include the street life and the spiritual side of me.It is one of the best albums to ever come out point blank!!!!!!

Outside of music how do relax? What other things are you into doing?

I have kids,so when im not doing music I hang out with my little ones.I like to hang out with my homies at the club and have drinks and chase women,But I really relax with a lot of reading and meditating.

What can people expect to hear from you in the near future?

My new album is called Black mamba.This is going to be a hard ass album and I aint just saying that because its my album if it was somebody elses album I would say the same thing bacause of the hard work that got put into it.It aint no joke this album is real fire shit.The drop date is not confirmed yet but im thinking about dropping it sometime in march 2010.The future for me is more success and good music.
